Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. – Matthew 28:16-17
We often think that if we saw Jesus Himself in front of us we would believe, but the Bible describes people who saw the resurrected Lord and still doubted! We want to blame God on our unbelief, but God has always been faithful to reveal who He is to mankind. It seems that our unbelief is not based upon a lack of evidence, but rather a hard heart that began with Adam in the garden of Eden. The doorway to heaven is based more upon a heart of humility than a head full of knowledge.
