The final report on the 2010 State Audit of Gasconade County has been issued by Missouri State Auditor, Susan Montee.  The portion of the audit conducted by state employees has been posted on the auditor's website.  The "Yellow Sheet" toplines may be found at:  http://www.auditor.mo.gov/press/2010-105.htm.  And the full audit report may be found at:  http://www.auditor.mo.gov/press/2010-105.pdf.

There is another portion of the report which is still being worked on by a private CPA firm contracted to perform audits for the state.  When this portion of the audit report is released, I will report on the findings contained therein.

I hope that every taxpayer in Gasconade County will read these important audit reports.  They are very revealing.  They tell us how our county government is being managed by our elected county officials.

"While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him."  ~ Luke 5:12-13
