HermannHearsay announced today that it is featuring "Ads by Google". Since its inception, HermannHearsay has offered free advertising to local advertisers. We have so much competition for local advertising that we're not even trying to compete in that market. That's why we have chosen to give our ad space away free to local advertisers.
But we do have expenses just like our competitors. That's why we've chosen to associate ourselves with "Ads by Google" through their "Ad Sense" service. It is our hope that ad revenues generated by this association will produce enough income that we can buy a new laptop to replace our 5 year-old H.P. Pavilion dv4000 model and maybe a digital camera. And if we're lucky, these ad revenues will also allow us to give Jimmy Oldsun and Lois Lame a pay raise from time to time.
Look for "Ads by Google" after each most recently posted article and in the side bar immediately to the right of each most recently posted article. We invite you to visit the websites of our non-local "Ad Sense" advertisers. When you do you will be supporting HermannHearsay and making it possible for us to continue publishing articles of local interest.
Please give us your comments about the "Ad Sense" advertisers.
