...... this time against Hermann Alderman Dan Wilson.
He just can't help it, folks! It's an obsession, a sickness with him!

"The owner said a conflict over sidewalk seating that got personal in May of 2010 between Wyne [Steve Wyne, owner of Trapper's Grill] and Hermann alderman Dan Wilson had nothing at all to do with the decision to close the restaurant and bar."
This information is irrelevant to the main storyline, which is the fact that Trapper's Grill at 4th & Market Streets has closed effective January 1, 2011. Period. End of story. Mr. Wyne even admitted that it had nothing to do with closing his restaurant. But oh no, Mr. Noedel felt obliged to include a little back-handed "swipe" at Hermann Alderman Dan Wilson anyway!
This isn't the first time Noedel has seen fit to take a "swipe" against someone. Usually the targets of his "journalistic venom" are Northern District Associate Commissioner Matt Penning and his father, Hermann Alderman John Penning.
Well, Mr. Noedel, take a "swipe" at me! Go ahead, make my day!

Dick, Dick, Dick.... do you just make stuff up to make you right?? The report is Factual. The closing had nothing to do with the issue that came up this last summer...that's what the article said! People will remember the fuss, the statement in the article serves to squash that rumor, before it gets started!!! Don't know why a guy like Noedel would bother though, with muckraker and Gossip Dick on hand to stir crap where none exists. You are a real piece of work! Why does telling it like it is scare you so??? Why does the truth and facts Pizz you off so much, Dick??

You however, by poison pen stuff like this one, show all here, your slant! So, how are you any different in action, than Noedel, who you hate so much? You act exactly the same!! As an U.S. Citizen he has the right to say or print what he feels. This site is ALL ABOUT SLANT. Unlike CNL, that would like readers to believe that it is an unbiased News site. Far from the truth. I for one did not know what the CNL piece was referring to, nor did I care, the story was about the abrupt closing of Trappers, what the old conflicts had to do with it just left this reader confused and was irrelevant the the story at hand.
Not all readers live in the city of Hermann, I live in the county and do not keep up with ever little conflict that happens in Hermann.
You are comparing apples and oranges, Get over it!!!
If a person had a profitable restaurant, he wouldn't abruptly close it down just because he had had a disagreement with a city alderman over his encroachment onto the city sidewalks with his tables and chairs. I presume Mr. Wyne has determined that the near-term prospects for profitability are not good. Perhaps Mr. Noedel could have engaged Mr. Noedel in a discussion about that aspect of his restauant opertion rather than confusing the reader with a reference which is irrelevant to the restaurant closing, something which occurred 7 months ago.
