After losing to Nebraska in Lincoln two weeks ago, Missouri Head Coach Gary Pinkel was asked what was the most disappointing part of the game .....



"Losing! Nobody likes to lose. I've been in this business a long time, but we will get back. We need to do a better job coaching. I mean we lost all three of our timeouts in the third quarter. Are you kidding me? And that's on me. It's our first loss of the year. The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel. – Proverbs 12:10

This proverb follows a commonly used literary tool of contrast. To follow in the ways of God (the righteous) causes one to pay attention to the smallest details with care. In a similar way, those who resist the ways of God (the wicked) have no hope of compensating for their hardness of heart. Even acts of kindness won’t cover selfish motives.

Tigers Will Try To Snap Losing Streak By Beating Kansas State

After their big win over the then #1-ranked Oklahoma Sooners, the Missouri Tigers have fallen on consecutive Saturdays to the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln and the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock.  Mizzou returns home to the friendly confines of Memorial Stadium and Faurot Field to face the always dangerous Kansas State Wildcats.  Kickoff is at 11:30 a.m.  The game will be broadcast by Fox Sports Midwest (FSM).

It is time to "right the ship" and get back on the winning track!  GO TIGERS!
