God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. ~ Hebrews 6:10
There are things done that no one will ever see. There may even be costly sacrifices made that bring about misunderstanding or criticism, but God sees. For the person who goes the extra mile to only face fatigue, God sees. For the single mom who is trying to provide for her children and keep her sanity, God sees. For the minister who gives so much with seemingly so little return, God sees. When we feel misunderstood or alone in our service to others, the God who sees in secret will reward you. This is a promise of Scripture.
