- Roho Efline rooted for the San Diego Padres to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals today on Opening Day at Busch Stadium. The Padres won in extra innings by a score of 5-3. Darn you, Roho!
- The Hermann Municipal Band will begin rehearsals starting Monday, April 4th, in the Hermann High School band room. Rehearsal will start at 7:00 p.m. Membership is open to anyone high school age and older. If interested, call band director Carl Bounds at 573-834-5400.
- Barry Schmelly, Beulah Bowelmovement, Ben Dover and Gertude Schenkelberg got together to watch American Idol at Gertrude's house last night. A good time was had by all. Rumor has it that Ben spent the entire night with Gertrude ..... but please don't repeat that.
- "Ralphie Boy's" first night at the state mental institution in Fulton was uneventful. Apparently "Ralphie Boy" is fitting in just fine with his new friends and his new surroundings.
