Hermann Hearsay will be covering the coming major storm every hour on the hour beginning at 7 a.m. tomorrow (Monday) until the storm is finally over. We have hired trained weather spotters to report in from various locations around Hermann. Frank Furter will coordinate reports with Charlie Farquharson (Ward 1) and Winston Weatherly (Ward 2) from our central weather desk.  Our "Major Snow Storm Team" will report on our next potentially very dangerous storm from various viewpoints:

  1. hourly weather conditions and snowfall accumulation,
  2. exclusive photos taken around town by our photo-journalist, Dick Schaefer,
  3. impact on Hermann businesses,
  4. Hermann road conditions, and
  5. availability of necessary services - grocery supplies, prescription drugs, pizza delivery, hospital operation, bars and taverns, etc.
So tune in at 7 a.m. tomorrow and stay with us until the snow storm is over!

  1. Fred and I will keep you and the staff of HHS informed of weather and road conditions in the Canaan and Owensville area and might have a few reports from the Redbird and Bem communities.
