We are currently in a lull between storm cells.  The one which will hit our local area tomorrow will be much worse than the one which moved through our area today!

Charlie Farquharson and Winston Weatherly will be monitoring weather conditions through the night.  When the next storm hits, we will be back to report on it.  In the meantime, I will be catching up on my sleep until Charlie and Winston call me to report the leading edge of the storm front which we expect to begin pounding us in the early morning hours.

If you want to keep up with the movement of the storm into our local area, use the AccuWeather.com gadget which we have downloaded for your convenience hereinbelow and/or click on HermannMoNews to read Poor Richard's coverage.

  1. Roads were wet and glazing at 4 a.m. in the Canaan and Owensville. At 5 and 6 a.m. we are getting sleet and the roads are white but driving is fair on Hwy 28. I will be traveling to Owensville for more salt this morning and give an update at 8 or 9 a.m. Cletus
