A. A. Newman Achieves 4.0 GPA In First Semester At MIZZOU

Hermann Hearsay learned today that A. A. Newman achieved a 4.0 GPA during his first semester at Mizzou.  A. A. is majoring in nuclear physics and minoring in quantum mechanics.  He is the son of A. E. Newman of Bland, MO, who is a candidate for Southern District Associate Commissioner of Gasconade County in the 2012 election.  A. E. Newman remarked ... "I am very proud of my son!  He's always been a good boy!  He has never been a bully, and he has never intimidated women entering the Gasconade County Fairgrounds or innocent people attending public meetings.  He has never called anyone a four-letter or eight-letter derogatory term during a county commission meeting!"

A. A. Newman, a freshman at the University of Missouri - Columbia, visited with his parents in Bland over the weekend.  A. E. Newman reported that his son is doing great at Mizzou.  "He's getting straight A's in his first semester at MU!" said the elder Newman.  The younger Newman is studying nuclear physics and is preparing for a career with the nuclear Navy.  A. E. Newman went on to say "I just hope the boy doesn't screw up and melt down that research reactor Mizzou has out there on South Providence Road!  He's always been a little accident prone ya know!"

Candidate for Gasconade County SDAC

We just learned that A. E. Newman's Missouri mule named 'Truman' has won highly-coveted awards from The American Donkey and Mule Society (ADMS).

'Truman' won the blue ribbon award in two categories:

1. 'The Stubbornest Mule' Award, and
2. 'The Best Groomed Mule' Award.

Newman credits his hard-working staff at Newman's Mid-Missouri Mule Riding Ranch near Bland for helping 'Truman' win this award.  (See photo of 'Truman' below.)

Newman recently announced his candidacy for Southern District Associate Commissioner of Gasconade County.  Newman will be opposing incumbent Jerry Lairmore in the 2012 general election.

Newman told Hermann Hearsay that he plans to ride 'Truman' in the 2011 and 2012 Gasconade County Fair Parade in Owensville.
