The "free press" must be "free" to publish accurate and truthful reports to the public without restriction or intimidation by the government. The "free press" must be "free" to compete for readers, listeners and viewers in the open marketplace of ideas. And finally, the "free press" must publish or broadcast a product which is "free" or at least "affordable" by every citizen in our society!
