The rain began falling at around 5:15 p.m. on Friday evening in Hermann. It looks like the Shelbyfest and the opening night concert is in jeopardy. There will likely be a lot of "blue eyes crying in the rain"! Sing it Willie!

The concert went on despite threat of thunderstorms. A few dozen brave souls braved the elements to listen to the 'Blue Devilles'. I was not one of them!

ReplyDeleteYep, it's raining in Hermann too! Of course I wouldn't know that were it not for all of our LIVE weather webcams. It's become too damned old-fashioned to just look out the windows to see it raining. Nope, we now have hi-tech weather webcams! I like 'em so much I'm plannin' to mount one on top of my roof right next to my DISH satellite receiver!

Sorry no weather report for Bland. Fred and I drove the K Whopper to Newman's Farm and that damn mule of his kicked the web cam over!! Please send the repair crew. Snowman...Don't forget a towel Fred is all wet!!#@**
