HermannNews.com has posted a couple questions in its 'Forum' section which need to be asked. We commend them for asking these questions, and we encourage our readers to visit their site and respond to the questions. The following links will take you right to the 'Forum' questions.

The only problem I have with these two 'Forum' entries is the fact that neither the owner nor the editor of HermannNews.com have been bold enough to state their own position(s) on these two important questions. Perhaps that is what happens to the owners and editors of online news services when they depend upon paid advertisers and large readerships. Perhaps they just become timid about clearly stating their own positions on controversial issues.
When you link over to HermannNews.com, you will find that our own Clark Kant is not timid about stating his opinion. As of Tuesday, 4/20, Clark is the ONLY subscriber to make comments in response to these two questions! Clark is no shrinking violet!
By the way, although HermannNews.com is a direct competitor, we consider them a very worthy competitor, if not a bit too timid in stating their editorial positions. They are on the cutting edge of online news website technology. They are very well-financed. To their ever-lasting credit, they avoid "yellow journalism" tactics ..... no ambulance and fire truck chasing, no ambush journalism, no constant and exaggerated self-promotion, etc. We have recommended The Hermann Advertiser-Courier to our readers in the past. We are also now recommending HermannNews.com to our readers.

Don't give up on the truth.It's easy to print at Hermannhearsay why can't the other guy's do it? Alex looked like he was moving in the right direction and Jeff took him off the case. As far as anyone one commenting on Clark's article there is nobody left!There was only 4 comments when they slamed Clark the last time. ReplyDeleteI don't know why HermannNews.com is asking what happened to the GCCS and the courthouse project. Afterall, isn't Glenn Warnebold, owner of HermannNews.com, also a member of the GCCS Board of Directors? Isn't Glenn still the Treasurer of that group? Looks like HermannNews.com could simply ask Glenn what is going on with the GCCS!
