In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border. It will be a sign and witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them. – Isaiah 19:19-20
With all of the turmoil that Egypt is facing, we need to pray for our brothers and sisters there. God was faithful to send them a Savior, and He is working His purpose in Egypt today. May Jesus be exalted in the midst of this crisis. May there be an altar to the Lord in the heart of Egypt. Don’t let news reports be the only influence of your view of what is happening in Egypt. Pray for Egypt today!
