Notice is hereby given to Presiding Commissioner Ron Jost and CNL Publisher Jeff Noedel that the Board of Directors of the Gasconade County Courthouse Society (GCCS) will gather together for a meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening June 21st. The meeting will be held in the 2nd floor courtroom at the Gasconade County Courthouse in Hermann, MO.
Hermann Hearsay has confirmed the meeting date, time and location with Sharon Meyer, GCCS Secretary. Ms. Meyer told us that GCCS President Dale Ridder has personally notified Ron Jost, an Ex-Officio Board Member of the GCCS. Therefore there should be absolutely no repeat confusion on the part of Mr. Jost as to the date, time and location of this meeting.
Jeff Noedel of CNL is being alerted so that he too may make plans to attend. Mr. Noedel has beat his chest in recent articles on his website about the need for greater openness by the GCCS and about the need to complete the clean-up work on the property immediately west of the courthouse grounds. We suggest that Mr. Noedel attend the June 21st meeting so he can address his concerns directly with the GCCS Board of Directors rather than sneaking around "stirring the pot" and making meddlesome inquiries of building demolition permits at Hermann City Administration Offices.

ReplyDeleteOK, this is off topic for this thread quite a bit but, I wanted to point something out that myself, my wife and several other people seem to have noticed about CNL today.
ReplyDeleteCNL has been doing a survey of sorts to see what is most important to people for the "next term". Restoring and expanding the Court House was leading by a WIDE margin......until it was moved to the top of the page thise evening. Suddenly, after the move, it's a tie between "restoring and expanding" and "attracting more jobs". Not saying the latter is not important BUT, the vote was NOT even close just a few hours ago! It was something like 27 - 12 between the two and now, they are tied!
What's going on here????????

Do you think it has ever crossed Presiding Commissioner Jost's mind to conduct a thorough survey of Gasconade County residents? This is something I would like to see Larry Miskel do just as soon as he unseats Ron Jost.

Anonymous it's good to hear a new voice! You've brought up a good topic I like to call Jeffypoo's closet. When something like the poll looks like it's going fairly Jeffy Poo jumps out with a bogus number. When he reports on a meeting he prints articles that are part fact and mostly bullshit him and Jerry put together. Today's meeting June 17 2010 as reported by CNL is a crock at best There was no mention of how much money Central Tire has saved the county it's thousands of dollars! Nor is it reported that the county should have been paid tens of thousands for tire casings before Central Tire got the bid, JEFFYPOO just tried to cover up for his buddies and make another honest man look foolish. OOPS! Jeffy should have stayed in the closet JEFFYPOO this honest man has a lot of friends.That's how it works when you do everything for your town, and people who needs help you have friends. Gee I think Jeffy screwed the pooch on this one,just too busy trying to screw Mr Penning, you'll stick to anyone!
