A number of our readers have inquired about Clark's mental health condition. We are happy to report that Clark is doing just fine. He has checked himself into a psychiatric hospital in St. Louis. For privacy reasons, we cannot give out the hospital's address nor Clark's room number. Well wishers may make comments and offer their prayers on our website.
That's Clark right there in the photo walking from his hospital room down the corridor to an electro-shock therapy session.
Some of you may not know that Clark was accused of having mental problems by two or three of his most vociferous critics. Now Clark is a very serious and thoughtful person so this harsh criticism has bothered him immensely. It particulary hurt Clark that two of his fellow journalist colleagues would criticize him so cruelly and viciously. Wanting to make absolutely sure that he is not a mental case, Clark checked himself into the psychiatric hospital on Thursday. He will remain confined there for close observation and therapy until next Friday, 4/16.
Jimmy and I miss Clark and wish him a speedy return!

Illegitimi non carborundum is a mock-Latin aphorism meaning "Don't let the bastards grind you down". Please pass this on to Clark and tell him I'm praying for him!

Tell Clark that he looks better in a suit than he does in a hospital gown! And tell him to get well soon!

Hell, I have coffee with Clark just about every morning. He seems perfectly normal to me.
ReplyDeleteI think the two individuals who have offered their psychiatric diagnoses of poor ol' Clark are Jeff Noedel and Hank Vonk. The last I checked they aren't licensed in the State of Missouri to practice psychiatry. It seems to me they should just stick to hosting their internet radio programs and talking to their "callers". Excuse me, I should have said "caller" singular. Ha ha ha!
Tell Clark not to let those two jokers bother him!

Hope they will let Clark attend the Cards' opening game in St. Louis on Monday! Is he stable enough to a ballgame?

Ckark,
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see you down and out. I guess all the pressure of being at the top and everyone else trying to knock you off, the pressure was just too great! Hang in there old lad your going to be just fine. Be careful when they hook the 480 volt to ya. Make sure they got a good ground. By the way a fantastic picture of yourself, but be careful you don't trip and fall. You know what can happen with that type of gown. It wouldn't be pretty! All the best of luck to you, get well soon. Be Happy.

If Clark ends up needing to take some anti-depressant drugs, tell him to contact me. I buy my prescription drugs over the internet from a Canadian pharmacy. Good prices!
