Here's another "oldie but goodie" .... "Mama Said" performed by The Shirelles. This performance by the Shirelles was presented in 1963 as part of an award winning short film screened at Sundance and in the Official Selection at Cannes. This short film directed by Mike Costanza shows images of the racial turmoil of the times in America. Here are The Shirelles ... Lyn McDonald, Karen Hawkins, Lorinda Hawkins, and Crystal Justine.
